We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Technician to join our team. As an Senior Technician, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process by assembling components and ensuring the proper functioning of our products. Your attention to detail, technical skills, and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment will contribute to the success and quality of our products.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Engineering to troubleshoot and resolve returned material issues in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with the production team to assemble components accurately and efficiently.
  • Interpret work orders and blueprints to determine specifications and materials required for assembly.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to assemble, install, and repair components.
  • Inspect finished products to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner to support the Service Department needs
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Assembly and test of electronic/mechanical sub-systems and finished product, including programming PCBs
  • and executing test scripts to evaluate performance against product specifications
  • Manage production line inventory, procedures, training, and equipment
  • Use of electronic test equipment to test, evaluate or troubleshoot.
  • Reworking PCBs and building custom wire harnesses, battery packs and electronics modules
  • Labeling, packaging and shipping finished product
  • Documenting and maintaining records of material and processes used for all builds
  • Maintaining a clean work environment and ensuring that line control is followed and all equipment is calibrated prior to builds
  • Assist Quality department in handling incoming or returned material, with dimensional and functional inspections or bench testing as necessary
Work Experience
• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Proven experience as an Senior Technician or in a similar role in medical device assembly environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand and power tools.

Skills:
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, blueprints, and diagrams.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with a focus on quality and accuracy.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects.
  • ​​​ Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a manufacturing environment.
  • ​​​​​​​Ability to work full time on a production floor environment
  • Some overtime as required with sufficient prenotification
